Feedback: The Backups

The backups is announced on discord but not ingame. Is there a way to give atleast, a 60 seconds warning before one of those occur in the ingame-log?

I want to say no, else it would have been done instead of the discord.

That's because you can't really grab it's X time in real life, let's warn of a back up. Especially with Daylight Savings throwing off what that time might be.

It always occurs at 7:30 or 8:30 am of my gmt+1 time, not exactly sure which one of it now.

The Backups always happen at specific times, around 2:30 for me. We already have messages for when the servers are going to be reset, and usually when people are booted out of the game. They have lost track of time

For any mages, they will lose summons. A lot of people lose buffs, often you can be in the middle of crafting and leave something valuable in a bench when these backups occur.

Even if its just a "Backup incoming in X Minutes" I'm sure people wont mind having that pop up a few minutes before when it happens. While Discord can be great, lots of players on Arelith still dont use it, expecting them TO use discord to get these backup reminders is a bit unfair.

A lot of us know 1:35 AM as Reset O'clock, because so many of us have been killed by the abrupt log off in places we otherwise would not dare to, we've lost items we were crafting because the server reset with things in the workstations, etc.

It would be a BIG quality of life improvement to attach some kind of warning to it, or at least sticky a warning on the forums and/or the website so that people know its a thing. As was said before, the only way to actually hear that the reset will happen is through the discord.

What's the possibility of just pausing the game entirely when the backup happens? Put us all in a two minute time stop?
