Golems: Remove From Party

Sometimes the remove from party button works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Logging out is a workaround, but hurts roleplay when I vanish for a minute here and there.

Have you been trying to remove from party with the player tool 1 active on the golem?
If so then that stops you from removing them. Use it on them again to deactivate PT1 control and then they can be removed.
If this isn't the case then I got no idea what the cause is, sorry
