PGCC vendors could use things

Post by Party in the forest at midnight »

I wanted to test some things with friends but discovered that the vendors are missing a lot of things. The vendors sell potions, but, not all of the useful ones. I figured I'd relevel to take the brew potion feat, and found that the vendor doesn't sell potion bottles. The vendor also doesn't sell dragon blood.

Could some quality of life things be added to the vendor, like spell components and component pouches? And could commonly used wands, potions, and scrolls be added to the vendor so people can put together a consumable set to test things?

Also, could all streams be activated by default on pgcc, or the stream books/prisms added to the vendor?

It would also be great if an option was added to automatically learn all the languages. The other day I was testing a Human build with the Dwarven Rune Axe, but I found myself unable to enchant it given that it requires an enchanter fluent in Dwarven. Not the end of the world, but it'd be a nice little addition to the PGCC.

It would be nice indeed if the vendors offered what is sold in sibayad caravan shops for example, as the +2 items from that shop are used by some characters for enchanting and runecrafting.

Perhaps asking for all the loot table items to appear is too much work, at least for now.

Why not just bring in the enchantment dwarf from the base PGCC module that lets you add up to +12 stats and other traits to items? I know it's not Arelith equipment but it would be nice to just quickly get to what you know your gear on Arelith will be capable of without fussing around with crafting and enchanting on a test character.

We have removed it for a reason. It will not be returning - I’ll look to updating the merchants when I get The opportunity to get around to it. I’ve just prioritized other things.
