Rangers currently can select one studied enemy per 5 ranger levels with the prerequisite that the ranger has to kill 100 of the enemy.
This was (and still is) a really good addition when rangers were initially buffed, however there are a lot more races now that we have haks and the quantity isn't quite up to necessity as it stands.
The simplest and most straightforward solution would be to simply increase the number of studied enemies a ranger can have, however it seems to me that if we keep giving rangers more favoured enemies we may as well just give them the whole list.
A more interesting solution, I think, would be to allow rangers to change their studied enemies on a cooldown. Every, say, twelve or twenty-four game hours a ranger can re-select their studied enemies out of a list containing all the creatures that they've killed 100 times. This would keep rangers viable while also maintaining their "focused hunter" aspect, and would even support RP based on preparation and study before heading toward an encounter.
Note that I am not suggesting that rangers need kill another 100 enemies every time they switch as that would be incredibly arduous, rather once 100 of a race have been killed they should be selectable whenever the ranger prepares their new list of studied enemies.

Moving tihs to rejected as we've recently adjusted favoured enemies.
