Hello
I've logged in with a some-time absend character Laura Sinclair. After logging in, I was forced to rebuild the character due to mechanical changes. Not knowing how to build her properly again, I did a quick leveling up, because there was also a server message saying: Do not log out at level 1 or all inventory will be lost. So, after being kind of forced to do anything leveling-wise, I've put together the character, which is now not the same as before, due to my lack of documentation that I had at hand.
Looking up how the character was set up before, the server says I am not eligible to relevel the character. Makes sense, as I recently did it, but.. yes. You may understand why I tried to do it again - properly.
So, there's that.
Another thing is, every time I switch from Cities & Planes -> Surface -> Distant Shores... the server boots my character, saying it's invalid. I can then relog after waiting until the CD key is booted as well.
Is there something I can do about it? Or both?
Greetings from the other side.

Invalid Character
Might I respectfully suggest playing the game, rather than indulging in speculation about how we might screw the game up in future? - Mithreas, 2014
Re: Invalid Character
I get that message. I think you need to pick the correct server for the region the character was save in ie i pick distant shores cause the character is in skal. I get that message if i switch to a character in cordor without going out and picking the surface server

Re: Invalid Character
This has been happening ever since we switched to EE. It's just something you have to live with. Just click "okay" and "play" with the correct character selected and you will be logged in to the server you were transitioning to.Elena wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:10 pm
