a scroll case that doesn't open for wizards

I have a scroll case, and it is filled with roughly 1-2 copies of every single spell in the arelithian wizard spell book, give or take a few weird extra shove ins.

If a wizard tries to open this case, it spits out an error in the servers combat log about too many instructions for the container.

if anyone not a wizard tries to open the case, it opens just fine.

I've tried renaming the scroll case back to scroll case, I've tried moving scrolls to a new scroll case, i've tried significantly lowering the amount of spells (but still keeping to the trend of 1-2 copies of every single spell) but i get the same error message

it's my current hypothesis that since this only started happening after the recent scroll case update where a scrollcase will tell a wizard what spells inside they currently have memorized and do not the issue lies somewhere in that line.
