Steps to reproduce the Bug: Logging in and heading to the area "Skull Crags Lower Mountains".

Expected Result: Not crashing

Actual Result: Crashing!

Additional Information/Notes: Turning off all video settings, updating drivers, disabling workshop items not working. It has been suggested by DM Hoodoo that it might be an issue connected to new pines (placeables?)

Adding a note:

- Running with beamdog client instead of steam, mysteriously, let me log in and load the area. I.E. not a graphics issue.

- Previous area (Skull Crags?) gives no such issue

- tried running the steam version straight from the exe, with steam closed
- not subbed to -any- workshop
- tried running with integrated card instead of the NVIDIA one
- server reset "unstuck" the characters, but the issue persists. Left an alt outside the affected area, still crashes when trying to enter it
- tried redownloading NWSync files
- toggled threaded optimization on and off
- cranked all graphics to the lowest setting

FIXED.

Not sure why, but a clean steam installation did the trick. The problem doesn't seem tied to nwn.ini settings (or graphics settings in general) either. If anyone else experiences crashes, suggest a beamdog install first, and if it works, a clean steam reinstall. Will do some more testing and report if I can find anything that "breaks" it.

- Tried adding the modded nwn.ini settings I had - still works
- Tried adding symphony's workshop shaders again - still works

We were tracking/discussing this on our end too.

Thanks for posting such a detailed crash report; doesn't just help us investigate, but really helps out players who may experience the same problem. Much appreciated.

That was the intention! Welcome, and thanks for the thanks.

Edit: linked back to this viewtopic.php?f=12&t=25543

Will try getting some actual crash logs from the steam version to figure out what the problem is.
