Epic dungeon chests

I am not sure if below is implemented or resolved one way or another. If yes please forgive me for posting and disregard :p.
Make the epic content *final boss* chests(rune etc) tied to the death of the relevant boss. (Not dead? Can't pick lock/ shows empty/etc).
I am sure tying it to the X% passage of the dungeon or passing x/y/z relevant dungeon transitions(in the last ~30 min) or something similar can be a pain, but the above hopefully isn't difficult to implement.
A good, relatively easy example that resolves a portion of the problem is a one time key to the treasury that drops from the giant boss (Jarl x? ,cave near Guldorand).
While RP wise it might not be 100% great, mechanically wise it is the right thing to do (imho). Especially now with single use old/new items becoming more relevant.
