Server-hopping and name-changing aside, it is my opinion that if you login after 12+ hours, your spellbooks should be refreshed. It's really a QoL thing that doesn't hurt anyone.

Likewise after reset if in a no-rest area. Happened to a group I was with not long back where we could not secure an extention to the reset, so three wizards turn up after the reset with no buffs, no prepared buff spells and no replacement summons in the middle of a no-rest epic area. I mean Bad things happen to good adventurers but that was pretty tediuos.
