Cambion Race/-cambion feat

The Cambion race still requires food and water- which much like the Imp race, it should not.

As well, the -cambion Osyluth form, is still the old large Bone Golem model, and not the new Osyluth model that the summon is.

EDIT: It may also be worth looking into the other planar ties as well, such as banishment, etc. Seeing as there are not very many Cambions yet, I would not be surprised if it was overlooked or forgotten! Just a thought!

I'm a bit baffled by this too. Let me dig into this.

Edit: - ok it's been clarified. Yes, this is a 5% custom race from ages ago.

If we ever make this race a general 5% race, we'll look into these points.

I was under the impression it was an approved race, as it now has it's own script. Because when my race was approved ages ago, it was not a script, it was just the normal 5% reward. So recently when I returned to playing and was told that there was an actual script now with it's own -feat, I only assumed!

This isn't a bug. This was from a side-conversation that I had that I said I would like to see it modified to utilize HAK appearances; this would change both the Warlock summons and skin choice of the player to not use a Bone Golem model instead. But, there was no promise this would be done.

As for availability, Cambion was added by Dunshine as code awhile ago - if you look up Grumpycat's thread, you will see the stats I provided for the race. However, these are subject to change - as is any race stats as balance may be required.

In this case, the Cambion that you are playing is a coded race to replace the mock race that was made through LETO at the time of your character creation (some odd years ago). I am not sure what the team wants as availability, but it would definitely require an application and be VERY limited in number.

Add on: Seeing as this was first a LETO project that turned to code was likely done in case more people applied for it in the future, the application of the stats to the PC would be much easier for the team. However, it was likely created in the mindset that it should be very rare these are approved and that it was created as a one-off, much like the illithid was. And, left in case someone else wanted it.

I was a bit surprised to find in the 5% Dreams thread that we have some 5% races no one really knew about.

Could we perhaps release the stats and abilities for all of them to the Wiki? It is irrelevant if they are in rotation or not, we have several like those in the Wiki too (rakshasas, dragons, etc).

The thing is, to be honest I am not sure I want them as a 5% option. I'll discuss this with the team.
