Rogue light armored and sword and dagger.

Post by Entre Laberintos »

Doesn´t rogue need a little adjusting?
I mean the sword and dagger ability became obsolete with the new proficiencies groups. It could be deleted and be the same.
And light armored is just useful at mid-levels. Once you max dex, you don´t get anything from it unless you started with low dex, and even in such cases, exchanging dex ac for dodge ac feels like a dubious benefice. I think that light armored should work the same as the barbarian armor ability, maybe it should even stack with barbarian levels for it. Sword and dagger could mitigate the ab penalty from two-weapon fighting when using the required weapons?

The cookie cutter 24 rogue /6 fighter

Or the modified one 19 rogue/6 fighter/ 5 shadow dancer gets their max dex ac increased by 6.

There are plenty of options via umd of leathers (max dex 6) than is + 4. Now im not sure how higj your dex mod gets, but i am assuming it's not much more than 14. Leather + 24 rogue isbmax dex of 12. Padded + rogue is max dex of 14.

There are also real nice + 4 leathers out there.

Let´s say that the dex mod is actually +14. You get 1 sad extra ac (maybe 2 if the padded armor options have better options than the clothes?) from an ability that requires 28 levels. It also turns a lot of your ac into a lower quality one.

Correct, though
24, not 28 rogues. For dex mod of 14 padded. But yes, arelith tries to scale all the optimal build to have roughly the same end ac (it's why rangers and bard are strength based)

You still get epic dodge and blinding speed with the same duration as your cooldown and + 30% less speed reduction (130% speed with blinding speed+ stealth) with extra ab cookies to weapons and attscking from stealth with crippling strike ti debuff all the str lovers

*edit*

Also leathers + 4 is same as padded + 3 for 14 dex mod rogue. So even if your dex gets hit by a a little debuff, your ac is still shining. Especially with haste on.
