New classes not getting any spells

I tried making both a shaman and Favoured Soul, both on the Cordor server and PGCC after the recent update, and in all cases I didn't get any spells. No spell selection on levelup, spellbook empty. In all cases I had well over the requisite mental stat. In my desperation I even tried making a character with 14 in all mental stats to rule out me failing to read the class mechanics, but still nothing.

I aborted making a shaman on the Cordor server because I noticed I couldn't select Spell Focus at 1st level. I think there's a strong possibility that the two are related.

What version of 8193 are you on? (One place you can see this after launching the game is Options in the top right, another is the window itself depending upon the mode or if you alt-tab and hover over the icon)

I had this exact same issue and my game was on 8193.7, updating to .9 fixed it.

Well, silly me. That fixed it.

I guess I assumed that because I never had any issue connecting to the servers, that my client must have been up to date. Thanks.
