Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
Bump, still experiencing this issue- also seems to happen every time a server is reset
Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
I don't think this is a bug though.
Log in and Log out doesn't reset rage timer, it shouldn't even reset since it will lead to abuse.
For server transition, i don't think that anything can even be done though. Essentially, you are still logging out and logging in.
Just like any other ability on cooldown. A point to note is, the server transition place is always fixed, you should be prepared mentally or strategically for the transition. Server transition is never random unless you're totally clueless on the area ( still exploring ) and you just have to make a note of the location next time.
Just like summons, if you happened to crash, your summons will be unsummoned. It's not a bug.
Edit : I think i mis-read your post. You meant to say that the timer for barbarian rage will be on indefinite cooldown and doesn't reset even after 6 minutes unless you rest.
If thats the case, yep, it's a bug

Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
Correct. It’s the indefinite cool down that’s annoying. I think the key issue being that tribal rage is reset 6 minutes after they die or are removed. Logging out / changing servers must not trigger the “removed” event.Biolab00 wrote: Fri May 29, 2020 5:07 am I don't think this is a bug though.

Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
This also occurs when the server is reset while you’re logged out.
Example.
1.) Log on.
2.) Rest.
3.) summon tribals
4.) dismiss
5.) immediately log out
6.) log in 6 minutes later- tribal rage is back.
This is good, and appears to work correctly. Time still passes while logged out.
However-
1.) log on
2.) rest
3.) log out for a day
4.) server resets in that time
5.) log on
6.) tribal rage on permanent cooldown until rest
This seems like a bug. I’m fine with it being on cooldown every time you log in- no biggie, but the needing to rest is annoying.

Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
This is the same for a couple unique or edited summons.
The Shadowdancer Shadow works the same.
It has a 3 minute CD which is supposed to only start once the summons dies or is dismissed. This works as intended.
However if you have your summon out and server transition or log out and then back in, the summon is lost sure but the CD timer never triggers, so it remains "grey'd out" indefinitely until you rest.
It sounds like this is the same for t he Tribal barb summons.

Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
What if there was a command to reset the timer?

Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
That would be perfect. Simple /timer_reset to reset all current timers for cooldown a for their full duration? I just dislike needing to get drunk enough to rest all the time lol
Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
I am now working on -cooldown command. If other classes also have similar issues like this, please comment below.
Edited for grammar to make it worse, probably.
Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
I don't have one to test, but it's possible warlocks and BGs have the same thing.

Re: Tribal Barbarian Rage
Ranger animal companion also has a 10 minute timer. Not sure about druid.
