Shops - Forcing people to buy entire stacks

Can we just remove this option? I can't think of a single IC or mechanical reason why I should have to buy an entire stack of items. I wanted to buy a defensive essence from a shop, but they had it set so I would have to purchase the entire stack. Nobody is ever going to purchase an entire stack of defensive essences ever. So because the shop owner absent-mindedly toggled a wrong setting they are never going to sell any of their wares and the shop is essentially wasted space. Lets say I have a shop that has 60 heal potions stocked. Mister Fighter and Doctor Barbarian would both like to purchase 30. But I forgot to toggle an option and now neither of them can buy the amount they want, neither of them can afford the whole stack, so my shop sits there and sells nothing and I am completely oblivious to why.

It's a dumb setting that has no purpose and should just be removed. If any of you have a decent argument as to why it should be kept please feel free to enlighten me and prove me wrong.

Especially annoying when you forget to unset this default on a temp shop!

That's the thing, you never even see anyone with this setting on knowingly. It is always on accident and the shop owner sits there oblivious for days wondering why he's not selling anything until someone finally sends him a tell or approaches him IC asking if they can just buy one defensive essence instead of ninety eight. It hurts the shop owner, inconveniences the customer, and is just annoying all around.

The suggestion section of the forum is currently closed. If I recall the option might be worked on, but it's on a list of a lot of fixes still in the works.
