how it reads on the wiki

At level 19, gain +1 AB when using any Rogue Proficiency weapon, except the quarterstaff.
At level 24, gain +1 additional AB when using any Rogue Proficiency weapon, except the quarterstaff.
These bonuses add to a weapon's non-magical Attack Bonus and allow Damage Reduction penetration. (e.g. A +3 AB weapon will become +5, capable of bypassing Stoneskin or Premonition)

I am using +4 enchanted daggers and am a level 23 rouge and 5 shadow dancer and Premonitions DR is still counting.

Can you post some combat logs? I thought the same thing was happening with my roguelike character, and when I looked closer, it was a damage shield blocking elemental damage.

what it is, is the script adds a +ab temporary stat to correspond to an existing +ab stat. it won't do anything with the enhancement bonus (though, if they change it, maybe they could make it also work with the daggers that give an enhancement vs constructs...)

Rogue AB bonus does go through DR, by adding an AB property that's 1 or 2 higher than the existing one on the weapon. So, a +4 AB weapon would have a +6 AB property added, which would override it. Trust me, I've tested it on some Premo mages and they were none too happy.

so if i am reading this right the dead man's cross daggers are worse then the regular adamantine daggers because the dead mans cross will not stack with the rouge ability and only be +4 for damage penetration where as the adamatine daggers will count as +5 ?

No, a Dead Man's Cross will definitely get +6. If you can use those, they're the best option. Are you not seeing a +6 AB temporary property on your daggers?

Unable to replicate, dead man's cross daggers when equipped were given +6 AB.
