The Lost Desert

Post by Royal Blood »

What is the reason for 'The Strong Dust Storm blocking your path' dialog with the desert? There is one zone with only 2 transitions. This one can be a bit tricky and easy to get stuck in.

It's a copy of the Abyss, meant to be very difficult to navigate. There was supposed to be a fix added recently to help prevent getting locked in an area when you get sent there multiple times.

There's an area with only one transition, too. That's no fun to get stuck in.

I believe the main point of the mechanic in general is to keep people from spamming area transitions by immediately going back through them until the RNG gets them where they want to go.

That one area transition is the one that was fixed recently to keep you from being trapped waiting for the timeout, but I didn't apply it to the two on the other side of the same area. Getting trapped there on the two-transition side should be an extreme outlier.

(cough, stupid Lost Desert. stupid Abyss.)

Done.
