DEX mod, rogue/fighter/etc. levels, and everything else that seems to count for bonus to climb checks does not count for climb check.
I have watched characters with far less DEX mod and no applicable levels to climb checks succeed where my DEX-based rogue fails his entire HP pool's worth of 10-15 damage failures three times over.
My character sheet only says I have 4 climb, which is my strength modifier. My DEX modifier is 11 and it does not show or feel like it's working at all.
Climb only counts STR modifier as bonus
