Weather effects, Rain, Snow, don't show...

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but in almost all areas now when you arrive any visible weather effects that may be happening will show up for a few seconds and then the game will freeze for about a nano-second and the rain/snow will vanish even though the weather state has not changed and its still raining/snowing. Its a small thing compared to some of the other bugs yes but still it annoys me...

Nope nothing works at all. Anyone else having this problem, could it be something on Beamdog's end?

Adding in that I have been experiencing this as well. I assumed it was the rain override I was using but it appears not? It's random if it works or not. I thiiink it might be a beamdog-sided thing.

Confirming random. But curiously, when its broken, its broken for both my spouse and I. When it works, it works for both of us. Separate but identical gaming PCs.

I'll chime in here. I have asked people as well and have even chatted in game and the cycles are ending at the same exact time.

I've also asked people with various systems such as running off mac or linux.

The only time this seems to work correctly (or even close) is if I am in an area when it starts. When entering an area that it is already snowing / raining you usually get a 1-5 second play of the animation and then it stops.

If in an area and I happen to see it start and it's playing if I leave and re-enter I only get the short (1-5 second play) duration of it.

Aye same here... any idea why though? Obviously its nothing on my end so the question is is it on Beamdog's end or Arelith's end.

This may be a Beamdog related thing.

Can anyone confirm if the weather messes up after lightning?

If so, the latest development patch should fix it.
