In the "Untended cave" area near the harpy nest by Brogendenstein and the Crystal caves is a rope that leads down to an "Untended cave" area that leads to the Underdark zone "The Deepkiln". Transferring from Surface to Underdark works, but not in reverse.

As described above. Attempt to transfer from Surface to Underdark, then attempt to transfer back.
