Went to hunt Trolls in the caves south of Guld. Took a bronze dagger with a flame weapon scroll for the occasion, but the Trolls just would not die. It was the only source of fire or acid the character had, so I could not verify if it was an issue with the spell or just fire/acid damage in general, and I am reluctant to go with another character that does since it may result in trailing a train of unkillable trolls to a settlement or death. (only escaped with this char thanks to HiPS)
Incidentally, the first Troll I attacked (Bilecaster) died before I could even equip the dagger, so this mob may not have the fire/acid script and be killable without.

Re: Trolls potentialy unkillable.
Keep in mind that even if you have acid or fire, the trolls still have a massive regeneration. I remember on the Ice Road a sorcerer once tried to kill a Near Death troll with ice splash, and well, the thing did not die.
The fact that you used a bronze dagger makes me suspect that this might be the case, i.e. that your damage was still too low to kill them.
Still, it would probably be good to double-check if anybody can.

Re: Trolls potentialy unkillable.
Did cross my mind that might be the issue but pretty sure I had the damage output, since I was able to outpace their regen enough to get them to near death.
Re: Trolls potentialy unkillable.
This was patched.
