New travellers rations

Okay, this is a small thing, but with the new icons the new travellers rations have been changed.
Before: they occupied four slots and weighed 0.5 pound each.
Now: they occupy two slots and weigh 1 pound each.
Where is the problem then?
Well, normal food rations occupy one slot and weigh only 0.1 pound.
The logical conclusion is that it is currently pointless to use travellers rations, so travellers rations have no sense to be used by player characters (they may have sense for settlement resources and the rest but that is not the focus of this feedback).
IMHO the new travellers rations should at least weigh as the old ones, and as many two-slots items, to have any convenience in being used. As things stand it's just too advantageous to just use regular food ratios, even just for the inventory slots. Due to the way multi-charge stacking items work, you need to split the item you use from its stack, lest the charges of all the stack get used. And regular food rations do not have that issue.
The only benefit that I can think of for the new rations is that they spare people some clicks when they are bought. But that's hardly so pressing.
