My Rogue/Invisible Blade/Shadowdancer character just hit 3 levels in SD, gaining the Shadow summon, and I have noticed that since then sometimes Bleeding Wound does not trigger.
I have not noticed a pattern in the times it does not trigger, sometimes it will apply and then not apply against the same target on the same round. Does not appear to be a mainhand/off hand thing either as it happens to both. Sometimes it apples the visual affect and the damage per tick goes up as expected, sometimes neither happens. Because this has only started since I started using the shadow I suspect this is an issue with the Improved Sneak Attack granted by having the shadow close.
It happens if I am using Bleeding Wound or Improved Bleeding Wound.
I do wonder if this is happening because it is trying to subtract 3d6 sneak from my 2d6 Improved Sneak sometimes, in which case it will stop once I gain 3d6 in that next level, but if that were the case standard Bleeding Wound should still work since that only needs to subtract 1d6.
Suspected IB/SD conflict.

Re: Suspected IB/SD conflict.
It's because of shadow's guard behavior. Also It just checks if your attack would be considered as sneak attack which is getting messed due to guard behavior that I just mentioned. It has nothing to do with your sneak attack dice/feat.
Edited for grammar to make it worse, probably.
Re: Suspected IB/SD conflict.
The attacks are still going through as sneak attacks, but if it is checking independently for each attack I guess that might explain it.
Not really the end of the world since most are still working.
