Deep Imaskari race showing up for everyone

No lore investment character is able to see that I am a Deep Imaskari; I assume this isn't intended behavior? Most people are able to see my subrace after testing.

Well, the lore requirements for all races has been slightly lowered but DI is still at the top tier, when was the last time you remember this worked properly?

Also what was the race of whoever examined you and did they have ranger levels? (both give bonus to identify races)

It was approximately four days ago when I started to see all deep Imaskari with 25 lore. Examiner race: plain human, non ranger. I tested with a friend's yuan-ti character, but their race showed up as a human.

doesnt matter what your lore is like, theres a world-spanning enchantment spell saying they dont exist, your character has to be told about it to know it.

Do you have a source for that? AFAIK only the location of their homeland is a secret, not the fact that they exist.

That being said they are a very rare race that looks very similar to human, so I will boost their lore requirements a bit.

It's why I've been removing explicit mention of Deep Imaskar from DI NPCs' descriptions as I come across them and just giving physical descriptions instead where appropriate.

Huh, that's a cool bit of lore I had no idea about, we should definitely update the Deep Imaskari wiki page with this knowledge because I doubt many are aware of this.


Deep Imaskari will now be identifiable on examine only by other Deep Imaskari regardless of lore levels.
