I bumped up a previously closed bug report, because the container fixer doesnt fix the problem.
see viewtopic.php?f=52&t=30980&p=256594#p256594
Ive got the problem with a mining bag, containing raw gems, and a gem pouch. One creates 5 more pounds of weight out of 15x 0.1lbs. items, and the other creates 15lbs. out of 0 weight items (gems weight 0).
No amount of container fixer operations has changed the issue.

Re: Container weight bug
I am confused. If you empty the storage bag and run it through the container fixer, it deletes the old bag and creates a brand new one, which will not have the weight issue.
Are you saying that you never get a new container?
Or that as soon as you put items into the new container, it breaks again?
On the Gem Pouch, do you have gem dust in it? Because I believe dust does have weight.
Caveat: apparently weight on the storage bags has ALWAYS been a fickle thing. Someone was looking at the code a while back to see if they could fix it, but I don't know the status.

this.as soon as you put items into the new container, it breaks again
the problem keeps repeating no matter if i empty the bag and run it in the container fixer machine.
fair enough... i thought that a part of a weightless item would have been weightless as wellOn the Gem Pouch, do you have gem dust in it? Because I believe dust does have weight.

In any case, i count 7 pounds of dust against 15 pound in the pouch. Simply done, if i empty the bags, i have less weight on me than if i store the items in the proper bags.
I also tried adding stuff one by one instead of the bulk action, but it keeps repeating. The overall weight just rises up. it seems that as soon as it reaches a certain point, it breaks. It works till a point, then it doesnt work anymore.
It seems to be the case... had to rent a place in order to use the storage because im not strong enough to carry around my possessionsCaveat: apparently weight on the storage bags has ALWAYS been a fickle thing.
