Pray doesn't heal when unconscious and debuffed

Post by cornelius_4 »

I used a pray while under 0 hp and got a greater favour, only the favour was clearing debuffs with no healing (I think the debuff was doom from a troglodyte priest or something). Shouldn't healing be prioritised in that situation?

This is the counter to -pray. Pray will always focus the debuff and lessen the heal, so disablers can utilize a debuff to force a -pray that isn't so effective at restoring HP. By design.

Huh... well I'll be. Allright then. So when you say "lessen" you do not mean "completely remove" and "isn't so effective" might be "completely ineffective at restoring HP"? Otherwise it might be a bug as I received no healing at all, in the same way spider can lessen a fly's ability to live by consuming it and crushing a vehicle under 1000 tons of steel makes it less effective at driving, hehehe.

Yeah, pray removes debuffs first, so if you have debuffs, especially a lot of debuffs, you won't heal much or at all.
