Mundane buffs randomly failing

For a few weeks I’ve been playing a character who relies on vendor potions and displacer beast cloaks for basic buffs. I worked out a habit of drinking potions (18 min duration), applying Invis from cloak (7), then applying Invis again when it runs out (7), then when that runs out (14 mins from potion drinking) I re-apply everything.

I have noticed these buffs will randomly drop off at unexpected intervals. I will apply Improved Invis from cloak, walk around; the Invis effect icon blinks and disappears in a short time as expected. But then a few moments later, I see the Concealed icon blink and disappear as well, and the visual effect on my character is gone.

Other times I will drink a bulls strength because I am encumbered. Perhaps 30 seconds or a minute later, I’m encumbered again because the STR buff has disappeared. I have found the same thing happens with Cats Grace ad Wisdom as well.

It is sporadic and seemingly random but it is definitely happening. It took be about a week to catch on and realize it isn’t just my imagination. So I think it has been going on for at least a week, perhaps 2.

I am quite sure it’s not due to being dispelled or Invis Purge. It happens when I am walking around empty non-hostile zones as well as in dungeons.

I've frequently noticed a similar thing, though sometimes it is seemingly just the icon.

Sorry to say I've no idea why this is happening.

Yes I have seen the icons disappear, but more and more frequently I’m seeing that the effects are actually going away. Getting encumbered, stats down, AC/AB down, etc
