Possible issue with new torso models. Maybe bug?

Post by Party in the forest at midnight »

An image was posted in discord of all of the new models, showing what number they are. I'm not sure what lines 1, 2, etc mean, I'm not able to access those models. It only goes up to 80, which is row 0 on the toolset image. I don't know if this is a bug or if 1/2/3 means those are padded armor, leather, studded, etc. But tiers 1-3 have a LOT of cloth shirt options on it, so I don't think that's the case.

The chart I'm referencing

The numbers on the list are armor ac.

It looks like you are using cloth armor. If you look at the images, the highest number for Cloth armor is 80 (row 0- as cloth has a base armor class of 0).

You'd have to put on something of a different armor class to see the other styles.

That is what the row numbers mean. Zero is cloth armor. One is what ever armor has a base armor type of 1. Eight is full plate armor. etc

That is sad to hear, because there are some really nice looking models that would work well as shirts in rows 1 to 3. That's why I had to check this was a bug or not, because those shirts look like cloth, not armour.

Things were spread out as well as they could be to give all armor types some new options.

If you notice in the images you posted, cloth armor already has two, and in some cases, three times more options than other armor types.

We may in the future duplicate some types to other AC categories.

I just don't understand why 78 is considered cloth, but 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 103, 105, 106, 107,and 121 are all considered leather armour. A few of those are fancy dress clothing and are not armour. I'm most heartbroken over not being able to use 103, but 91, 92, 121 and 106 are other options I wish I could use.

Whilst cloth may have a great deal more options, many of them are less applicable to male models. Could we consider moving some of the options from rows 1, 2, 3, into 0 also? These models look good on male models, where many of the others do not.

Edit: I'm with Party, 103 is an incredible cloth option. That doesn't have to be a leather shirt, that could just be thick cotton and would look that way with the right colouring.
