Alright, this is half rant, half question, whole sad amusement.

Rangers can AE a critter.
Rangers can AE TWO critters.
Awesome all around, and gives them a little something extra to not just be low budget Druids. (Also the new 2h ranger update is awesome ^_^)

Druids can AE a critter.
Many Fun. So Nature. Wow.
Seems legit, right?

When a Ranger wants to let a critter go, they "wander off." They go home to their little animal family, have a little animal dinner, and go to sleep in their little animal den after telling their little ones stories of the nice Ranger they got to help.

When a Druid, bonded to the land, sometimes an animal themselves, keeper of ULTIMATE NATURE MAGIC lets an animal go? That animal wakes up, and chooses violence.

Every. Time.

I hate this. The animals hate this. The Dragon Age screen reads :Everybody hates this.

Won't somebody please think of the animals?

Some critters are hostile when you release them, even on a Ranger. Like freaking crag cats.

Two-bladed weapons had their +2AB removed. STR rangers can keep it if you grab a feat. Great for a class that relies on its Blade Thirst sustain.
