Arcane Tower foyer panal issues

Description:
In the Arcane Tower Foyer, the control panel is placed too far inside of the pillar, causing me to frequently get stuck inside the pillar when I'm trying to use it.

Steps to reproduce:
Click on the control panel to the door portal elevator thing in the Arcane Tower foyer.

Expected result:
Be able to walk away from the panel.

Actual result:
Get stuck and have to -makesafe.

This is still an issue, I'm still getting caught on the wall when I use the control panel.
