Description
==========
NPCs dominated with Dominate Monster cannot be released through the radial menu. The option "Release from Domination" is listed in the radial menu, however, choosing that option will not do anything. The creature just stays in your group and the spell keeps going on.
Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
1. Successfully cast "Dominate Monster" on an NPC
2. Try to remove the dominated NPC via the radial menu
Expected result
-----------------------
The target is released from domination and removed from your party.
Actual result
-------------------
The target stays dominated and remains in your party.

Re: Dominate Monster: Cannot release dominated NPCs
Yep, had this issue aswell. But checked the older threads and I think this is a known issue due to being dominated creatures belonging to a set of "cutscene" companions.
The only way to rid of them is attack them, or risk it by resting. Or - relogging.

Re: Dominate Monster: Cannot release dominated NPCs
So often this is a case of still using the summons tool and being in control of the creature. Turn the tool off and then release.

There’s also a cool command called -dismiss.

".. the other number that isn't 18." - Jack Oat
".. but- someone is still pumping the brakes sometimes, right? ...right?" - Batcountry
