Formian Myrmarch Elite/Planar Conduit/Not attacking

I've been having some trouble with the Planar conduit spells in testing, the 'Formian Myrmarch Elite' with the bow, as true neutral... It seems to just stand there after the bow, or not at all; equipping a +5 mace and not attacking?? I browsed the forum, but couldn't find anything so not sure if this is a well known thing, something I'm doing or it needs to be reported.

Unfortunately this is a common issue with all ranged henchmen, which I believe is a problem calculating LoS. I've partially overcome this with recruitable henchmen by setting their perception range to short, to ensure they only attempt a shot when they have a clear LoS. I'm not sure how effective it is, but I could try the change for that summon?

i'm not sure if this info is useful, but the crossbow battleloth's AI is very reliable and it functions very well as a ranged summon. i'm very ignorant where coding is concerned but it seems like something was done well with it.
