Consumable Usage Not Registered After Transition

Description
After transitioning servers, if the player character uses a consumable withing what seems to be a 3-5 second timeframe, the wand will expend a charge. But the effect won't take place on a player character, and the charge will be wasted.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Transition a server.
2. Use a consumable immediately after.

Expected Result
To have the effect of the consumable after use.

Actual Result
The item is expended (e.g a wand will expel a charge) but the effect won't take place.

Misc notes
Extensively tested with consumables such as wands, potions, food items, etc. Seems to be a few seconds after transition one can't use them.

Which Server?
Underdark.

Gaming Platforms?
PC.
