The Relation Staff <=> Players and dealing with breaking changes
I must say i am really disappointed about how the relation between staff and the players is on this server. My first character here was soon made unplayable (spellsword breaking changes) after enjoying to play her and could not since really get any help from the staff. My application for changes that i sent was ignored over weeks and whenever i talk with players they say "hey thats normal here". I have pretty much given up on that toon and hope that i wont get into similar situations anymore where i need help from staff. Its surprising and so much different from other servers i played on where the staff would in such cases at least give someone a chance to remake a character they invested time into playing.

Was this a stat request change that was submitted to me? If so, did you send any follow up on it?
Here is when I announced it and how to submit it: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=25&start=800#p285786
Please note there is no true promise when I can get to it. I do my best as one individual can. And we’ve almost had 100 rebuild requests.

Re: The Relation Staff <=> Players and dealing with breaking changes
We have had a lot more players in the player-staff ratio and it is indeed very normal around here to have your requests or applications missed in the big pile. It's not a paid staff and it's not likely to ever change drastically, especially when the numbers of players are ever growing. That said tho, and for this reason, it is not considered particularly rude or annoying to (after waiting a week first) ping the staff with another PM along the "how's it going? has anyone seen my request yet? just checking" every few days or a week until you get some kind of response. From my personal experience, you normally get a response on the first or second PM. So I've come to accept that whenever I have a request/application, it's gonna be lost in the pile, then I'll ping the staff after a week, and then it'll be addressed sooner than later. I actually have a lot of respect for a volunteer staff that manages to operate this affectively in such a large playerbase and I can only give kudos.
