Mesmer Walk Guildhouse Shops
The Mesmer Walk Guildhouse in Cordor (Blacktooth Manor) has 6 shops associated w/it: all of which are behind locked doors, but still subject to the Auction system. Since it's a guildhouse, the manor's owner has a fair deal of control over who has access to the shop leases at all, and has free liberty to simply evict anyone they don't like.
This means that they technically can pick and choose who gets w/e property they please in their guildhouse, but it's subject to a bit of rigamarole because of the auction system. The quarters do not face the same restrictions, and are all straight purchases. Maybe the auction system should be removed from shops associated w/non-brokerage system guildhouses?

Do you mean quarters and not shops?

No, the quarters already had the auction system rolled back from them ages ago, as I understand it. The shop leases inside the mansion just never got the same treatment - which just makes handling them a bit of a hassle for the Guildhouse owner: he can decide who gets one by virtue of being able to restrict access to their leases at all, and by virtue of having the ability to evict anyone he wants from one, but they still need to go through the rigamarole of waiting 3 days and having it be semi-random (if someone else managed to touch the sign when they weren't supposed to.)
It just feels a bit awkward to have guildhouse-tied shops be up for auction instead of straight purchase, when the other properties inside the guildhouse don't work that way.

They shouldn't be, you're right.
I'll see if I can find time to change them.

Every time the topic of shops in Cordor comes up I’m reminded of how crazy packed with shops Cordor is.
One guild house tucked away in a corner has 2/3 as many shops as Bendir Dale has, as many as Westcliff has in total, 1/2 as many as Brog, 3/4 of Sib, etc.
Wild!
