Today I had an adventure with a bard and a cleric who summoned a Shiradi, alongside other classes.
As now, if a player gets away from bard the song effect disappears, it was getting very annoyed to re-heard the bard song application over and over and over. Are we supposed to walk very close to the bard? I swear I heard the effect more than 30 times per map. Not sure if even lag make it worse, because they did not even get away from the singer but the sound and particle effect happened again.
To make it even worse, the Shiradi also had an area effect, so the mage armor effect sound was ringing every 6 seconds, maybe even more. The area effect does not have a lingering effect like bard, so this one was even more annoying to play around.
At the end of the adventure, we split to sell the loot, and it was very odd to have the song particle/sound effect applying over and over in town for just getting close to the bard. Also it made it very clear to everyone around we were in a party.
I asked the group I was playing with if this was only upsetting me, but they also mentioned it was frustrating.
Could the re-application particle and sound effect be silenced / removed or somehow made less obnoxious?
One played mentioned playing the game without sound, but sounds effect do give a lot of tactical information to turn it off.

You can do this yourself by updating the games sound files. I forget the exact name, but it looks something like bardsong.extension. It can also be updated with hilarious things!
