Hello,
I think the new cooking resources are really neat. Along side the new recipes, it helps give a lot more interesting options.
The only issue I am sort of seeing is that outside of a roleplay flavour, they don't offer any actual advantages over anything else. Typically I've noticed that more complex recipes actually give less food or even drink requirements, than things you can purchase for like 5 gp. Or even rations which are more readily available and restore 25%
The materials required for this are extremely rare as well (Now that the issue with the UD spawns was fixed!). I think there might need to be some kind of a merchant, but even so, the cost of these items is actually pretty high in relation to their benefit of use. Maybe this is a case where we should have herbalists able to make rice, flour, coffee beans, spices, etc, by harvesting plants and processing them? It adds an extra step, sure. But it also means they could be available and affordable for these more RP centric cooking items.
I don't want this to tread into 'suggestion' territory, sorry. I just tend to dislike providing feedback without also considering viable interesting solutions.

Re: New Cooking Resources
I also think that adding new wheat/coffee/sugarcane/etc. plants, and recipes to properly refine the products into flour, coffee beans, sugar, cocoa, etc., would be the way to go - with their base cost of 200+ GP, making these fun RP items would just be exorbitantly expensive if merchants were the primary source.
Some of us made a feedback thread about the food items themselves when the update first hit, and I definitely still feel like they're too low - Bone Broth is probably the only one I'd ever consider actually replacing food rations with - and that's just because it restores both Food & Water.
Fruit Medley even turns 120% worth of Food items into 30% worth of Food.
