I just happened to make an ichoret on one of my tailor characters. The description is pretty badass, very hemomancer-themed.
It's also clearly extremely evil. Invoking the name of Claddath is pretty telling.
Yes, the rune on it is fiendish, but it's not alignment-locked, and it's also open to elementalists who could even be Good. I feel like it would be wise if either the description were toned down a bit, or if an alignment lock were added. While it's true we can always redescribe items to completely change the nature of the thing, I worry that redoing something this blatantly body-horror into something that has none of that would be kind of taking advantage of mechanical limitations of the server.
Edit: another possible solution would be to add a clearly evil/body horror material to the recipe, like ithilid tentacles or something. My general point is that it's the kind of thing that a Good Guy Tailor would almost certainly be morally opposed to making, but because of the fact that server mechanics mean crafted items don't really exist until they're completely finished (in a 'real world', you would think Good Guy Tailor would probably figure out by the time they've etched in their third infernal rune on the dragonhide that this is Not A Good Item) it's very possible for Good Guy Tailor to end up making something Good Guy Tailor wouldn't have made.
The added ingredient solution would be along the same lines as the assassin-specific gear; the skull emblems aren't particularly difficult to get or find, but they clearly signal "whatever you're doing with this is evil."
