Sounds eerily similar to Morgy's report about entropy damage not working on their glove either, so I ran to the PGCC to test it.
Looks like none of the custom damages work on gloves (I made a pair that does 1d4 entropy/poison/psychic all at once). I tested on mobile. The glove's examination prints the extra damage correctly, but it is not showing in the combat log or the character sheet.
Furthermore - the character window converts it to physical damage, but I don't think this is applying either. If the extra phys was applying, my minimum should have been six damage, but I was hitting under that.
Basically - custom damage doesn't work on gloves.

No problem! It may be worth changing the thread name to match the apparent issue that gloves are broken with new damage.
As a control I popped back into PGCC, made a basic longsword with each damage, and they function as normal.
Someone did it for me,haha.
Found the culprit, this will be fixed soon.
