Mundanes being CL 30 for balance reasons is one thing. An epic wizard/sorc being easier to dispel than some rogue slapping a scroll or potion on themselves is wholly another.
I suggest that wizard and sorc be given abj defense for free at low epics (23?) to make them actually more “effective” magic users by comparison to scroll users. That or give them universal CL scaling from class dips. Would also help balance against the OP hotness inficasters.
If the justification for CL 30 mundanes is they need it for balance, then how do you justify vancian casters sitting at CL 27-29 when they arguably need it way more than anyone? Especially given the state of terrible balance around Vancian casters these days and their pure reliance on limited castings of spells for defensive and offensive purposes.
The disparity has long been a balance/mechanical oddity and additionally a very odd thing to justify setting/lore/ICly in a RP server. This would help rectify without negatively affecting server balance.
