For the past several months the guildhouse next to the dreadnaught in the UD has sat empty. Why? Because exactly according to plan, the deadnaught has switched hands nearly every bidding cycle.
This is good(working as intended for conflic), and bad, as nobody is investing in actually using the building because of the risk of being evicted.
I'm suggesting separating the guildhouse from the boat.
This will:
1) Make it so a faction can use the building, and a seperate faction can govern use of the actual ship, allowing both to be run by different groups while owned by the same district.
2) Fix the problem with the building being perpetually abandoned and a waste of server resources.
Seperating the two would let us use the structure without being concerned about the districts fighting over the boat.
Presently, the RP is such that a faction(mine) is moving into the structure, but we want to give the entire city access to the boat(only so we can use the guildhouse, otherwise either government letting us move in is a nonstarter). The problem with this, is that doing so means that we'll have to let everyone in the city into our guildhouse as well because of how factions work.
Thats a problem, one that we'd like solved please so we can actually use the building with some degree of privacy.
