A Hail-Mary Kudos

I was introduced to Arelith a while ago now, and can't help but look back and reminisce on the well-walked road I've travelled since then. My newcomer's experience was overwhelming, and yet I seem to recall a duo. Namely, one Nalak Doomwhsiper- an almost Rasputin-esc character, the kind of villain you would see in slapstick comedy. The other- a Trick Debonair, a flourishing villain with a penchant for petty mischief and japes- primarily aimed at the Cordorian Guard. It was definitely inspiring to see the levels of confidence, and lack of hesitation to play the villains- even if it was more of a joke at times.

Does anyone else recall these two? I wonder if more people got to experience the almost cartoonish hijinks these players got up to.

Trick Debonair was fantastic. I don't think my character crossed him ig more than once due to differences in where they went but I constantly heard him being talked about. Nalak was similar for me, I never encountered them ig unlike Trick but I saw stories of their deeds posted that made them feel like part of the world.

I play Nalak Doomwhisper. Super awesome to hear that both mine and Tricks hijinks left some fond memories and impressions on you in your early days on Arelith.

I myself have been playing on and off for the past 2 years now, give or take. Recently gotten more into Arelith again. Perhaps you might cross paths with Nalak in game one day. As for Trick he unfortunately can't play anymore which is why i also took a step away from Arelith for the past 2 years since me and Trick were a duo act of villains.

There are a lot of stories i can share about our misadventures in Arelith if you ever wish to hear them!

I've only now just seen this thread - better late than never, as they say - and words alone cannot express my utter bewilderment! That, to this very day, people can still remember our hare-brained schemes from our (VERY) brief stay on the server is nothing but astounding to me.

I'm gladdened to have been a small part of your experience on Arelith. I can only hope that neither of us took the time to rob you if we crossed paths!

Jokes aside, this post was brilliant. You've brought back many fond memories to a couple of inactive players.

Hopefully Nalak and I will cross your path again!
