Question on Quarter Ownership

Post by facesmash »

Sorry if this is posted somewhere, but I am curious about this specific circumstance. I know the rules are one quarter can be owned by a single account. This makes sense, so it leaves quarters open to everyones mains. But what if you play an alt, and your character happens to get recruited into a house that has an estate, with rentable rooms inside the estate, which is owned by another player (The estate that is) and they offer your character one of the rooms to rent. Are you allowed to rent it or am I supposed to come up with a reason to turn down the room offered (which is kind of awkward to do). Just not sure if since the estate is owned by the player head of the faction, and the rooms inside are technically overseen by the owner of the estate...if this is a grey area with some wiggle room.

Thanks!

I am pretty sure rooms inside guild houses (multi-room properties) still counts as a property in terms of the rules.

So you would either have to give up the room your have on another char, or find a reason to turn it down.

Those rooms are still the same system and held to the same rules. Guildhouse or not.

Confirming the above. You can only take a room in the guildhouse if you release the quarter on your main. One quarter per player period.

This too shall pass.

(I now have a DM Discord (I hope) It's DM GrumpyCat#7185 but please keep in mind I'm very busy IRL so I can't promise how quick I'll get back to you.)
