I hope it doesn't come off as petty or vindictive to make a suggestion post just to disagree with another person's suggestion post, but I disagreed so strongly with something I read on these boards that I couldn't sit quietly. The original post titled "Traps And You" will be linked here:

Friendly fire on traps, grenades and spells are not a bug. They are a feature. Just like a good FPS, I believe that friendly fire adds an element of grit and tactics to a game. Friendly fire assures that we're not just running in circles and whacking things mindlessly.

I feel the original poster's pain when he talks about game bugs or lag blowing him up but this is one of the inescapable problems of computer gaming in general.

So basically my suggestion boils down to "Disregard this guy's suggestion". Explosives should be dangerous, full stop.
