People make mistakes and grab the wrong gift for their character, other times the class people are playing or dipped into got a major change. Sometimes a relevel is enough, sometimes it's not, but even then your stuck with whatever gifts you chose that may not be ideal for your character anymore. Forcing these people to remake isn't the least bit fair, especially when they have to get another award just to make the character. I've seen this asked about over and over again and it baffles me that it doesn't exist. Add a support option in the Astrolabe to switch gifts, a DM can then review the change, the reasoning, and potentially bring a whole lot of relief to a player.
