Monkey Grip: include it as a Fighter's Bonus Feat

Post by Cabarcos »

Monkey Grip should be included in the Fighter's Bonus Feat list. For me, it makes sense as it is a Martial/Combat Feat.

I releveled a character that was almost level 16, so I could remove Brew Potion. After I got to level 16, I had to relevel it again because Monkey Grip wasn't an option as fighter Bonus Feat and I had forgotten to get it at level 15. The character had it before the relevel.

I thought about this when I first made the feat initially, then I noticed Toughness and Damage Immunity not being on the list - which are arguably "body" or "constitution" types of feat. I consider Monkey Grip to be among that type of feat at the time, so I left it out.

However, the other ones that are arguably "body" feats are Mobility. Armored Skin, Epic Damage Reduction, and (unironically) Epic Toughness which are available to Fighter (epic) bonus feats.

I'd say, along with Monkey Grip, we also put in Toughness and Damage Immunity to be available in Fighter's Bonus Feat list.

For you, the day Kenji overhauled your class was the most important day of your life.
But for me, it was Tuesday. :face_with_monocle: To-do list
