My quarter has 2 chests and neither give information prompts from the chests opening. I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet, because 3 other people were saying the same thing in the Guldorand discord. It might be an issue with the Guldorand server. I'm pretty sure this feature is live, because the servers were reset specifically to activate it. If it's not live you have my apologies.

Currently the linker is exiting a bit early so it hasn't been working for the automated method but DM's have started going around to chests as they have time. In a few resets (maybe after the weekend) we should see a fix for the auto-linker go in and then you should start seeing feedback messages hopefully!
