Turn Undead with Ooze Cleric Domain Destroys Ooze

Been playing an Ooze/Vermin cleric on Underdark for a while.

Been hoping to "Command" oozes with Turn Undead (Cleric Domain Ooze & Vermin), but only seem to be able to Turn/Rebuke/Destroy. For example, Black Pudding --I picked on them because I am assuming they have low HD and my guy is 25th level with decent CHA and Extra Turning--in Peninsula Cave "Destroyed" and was expecting to "Command" at least one.

Damn, what a shame.

It probably has something to do with your alignment - Do you mind disclosing your character's alignment? Versus say the alignment of the Ooze that you observe (from any sources, like the tube-summoned ooze, or ooze stream, etc)

Send me the alignment in private if you're more comfortable with that.

Note: Ice has a pending PR pertaining to Turn Undead so this may be fixed along with it, or something still needs to be fixed afterwards. Iirc how it functions now is the difference between the alignment determines the outcome of the Turning. Only similar alignment no more than a few steps away would allow commanding what you turn in general.

Ah, it seems I didn't fully move to the 2da based system. I'll have an update for it soonish.

Edit for clarity:
Commanding a creature has nothing to do with your alignment. There's only 3 things that matter:

1) Can your domain command the racial type in question? Ooze should be able to command oozes.
2) Is your combined power twice than the creature's HD?
3) Do you have less than 3 henchmen?

If all these are true, then you should be able to command.

Thank you for your responses! I am very appreciative of the work on Turn Undead and Cleric Domains. Been having lots of fun.

For the three things that matter, 1) Ooze guy should be able to do Ooze as you say, 2) I think power is 2X, because I got "Destroy" which also requires 2X Hit Dice (I think), 3) Less than three henchmen? --no henchmen I think but I was using Elemental Swarm and that is four summons? Trying to have that big family of oozes I always wanted... And alignment CE but it seems that matters not? Thanks again.
