Missing Fixtures/Wrong Fixture Count Bug

  • Description of Bug Experienced ···

Upon restart, placed fixtures disappeared in a random order, which made some of the last objects to be placed be safe and others banish disregarding when they were added or how long they had been there. The first objects to disappear were two bookshelves, a tombstone and a torture rack —couches, other bookshelves and candles picked and placed afterwards are still in the District House along with the bed that was brought the same day the missing bookshelves were. Back then, the fixture count was 71/320, even if the first day of moving it was 77/320.

A ticket was made by one of the members of the faction that currently operates there, and when the possibility of Excessive Theft was dismissed we began to replace some of the missing fixtures. It was then when I noticed that the fixture count didn't work properly (this is better seen in the images). Whenever I placed a new item, the count raised to 80/320. And if I placed another new fixture, the count remained 80/320. With this I tried to pick up a random fixture of the ones that survived last reset, but even having the fixture 80 placed, when I placed the old fixture back again the count swapped to 79/320 instead!

Suspecting it may be related with the location my character currently lives in —a crawlspace between quarters—, I recreated the same issue in the Tyrant's Quarter with the same result in the log. The owner of the room repeated the process and had the same odd fixture count in his log as well.

  • Steps to reproduce the Bug ···

  1. Place a new fixture (Object A) in the location: fixture count registers properly.

  2. Take an old fixture (Object B) in the location: fixture count registers properly.

  3. Place the Object B back in the location: fixture count is one number below Step 1.

  • Expected Result: Fixture count to take real account of every item placed under the limit, placed fixtures under the limit to remain.

  • Actual Result: Bugged fixture count and missing items in an unpredictable order.

  • Additional Information/Notes ···

There has been another issue regarding bookshelves in the other quarter of the area, where a bookshelf that worked normally like other crafted ones began displaying the PvE Bookshelf menu after a restart —losing the quarter owner's notebooks in the process and only allowing to loot randomly generated books. Currently we have no idea of how this happened but the issue was discovered the 24/02/2025 at around 18:53 GMT by the owner.

I was told to add this in here:
I own the non-tyrant Quarter.
The bookshelf that came with had storage capabilities initially, I stored notebooks in there for safekeeping.
After the bug was noticed in the crawlspace the bookshelf in my room became a normal lootable bookshelf with no storage capabilities and none of the stored books in it.
