Fixture Bug

Post by CptnCandyass »

Somewhat commonly, placing a usable fixture such as a Bookshelf, Altar, ect and using the -move command or nui tool will break the fixture. You will not be able to open or use the fixture, as your character will continuously try to reach whatever the 'center' of that fixture is to try using it. Even if they're standing directly on top of it, it will never be useable unless you pick it up, place it back down and try your luck again (and again, and again, and again)

Resets to not fix the fixture.

Raggix Shadowclaw - Shelfed

Given my recent experience with setting up some fixtures recently, it appears that it leaves its walkmesh (aka hitbox/collision) behind when you move them around. I'll move this thread to another bug forum because I don't think it's something we can fix without a coder. Also, that said, pathfinding around the fixture should be fine once the server restarts.

this bug is famous. a quick fix is to use rotate, rotate it, then rotate it back to original. it fixes the walkmesh issues.
