Shop Bidding Bug

I am having issues with store bidding in Cordor. Before making this, I was informed that a character needs to be a citizen of a settlement for a minimum of 30 days before bidding is possible. However, the character 'Ezekiel Mercer' has been a citizen of Cordor for over that time. To fix the bug, I tried refreshing my citizenship of Cordor 'by abandoning the citizenship and rebuying it'.

Others bought citizenship in Cordor less than a day ago, and they can bid on shops, yet I cannot. Am I missing something, or have I encountered a bug?

By abandoning and rebuying citizen you 'refreshed' the timer on the bidding/voting system

Hi, it seems you may have misunderstood the post.

I am aware that refreshing citizenship 'refreshes' the timer.
However, my main question is thus;
Before refreshing my citizenship, I was unable to bid on shops - as the shops claimed I did not meet the requirements to do so (i.e., missing either Citizenship/ability to vote)

After a substantial amount of time, during which this issue persisted, I decided to refresh it in hopes it would fix it.

However, regarding the timer, another player who bought citizenship at the same time as me, rebuying it, could bid on shops right away.
